Power outage due to their lines, my fridge stop working properly due to the outage and they said it is not their fault because the failure was in the underground wires.... WHATTTTTTTTT????????? That is their responsability due to the problem was from my house meter to the street. Now i have no fridge, i wiil have to buy a used oneand they do not give ***!!! This is the worst company I ever see in my life they charge too much for service you ask they for something and they always make mistakes they have the monopoly of electric in fl deposit is to high they do what they want with costumers they don't respect Add comment

FPL needs to be exposed as the fraud, scam they are. We need to do a class action lawsuit & find the lovers who live multi million dollar lives as c level schmucks screwing everyone in this state; 1100 Sq ft condo $249 bill & 70 is actually the electric the rest is non full surcharges? FPL is billing me an astronomical monthly bill for electricity I know I do not consume and I want this investigated. I have asked neighbors about their bills and they tell me I sm being ripped off. Every time I complain to FPL the bill is higher the next month. Please help. I can't afford this!!! Add comment

Back in Nov 2013 I contacted FPL 3 times to come out and address melted wires from the pole to the house. This house was a foreclosure. They sent out two crews who couldn't find the problem even though it was clearly visible by myself and my inspector who have no electrical training. The 110 wire had fused itself to the ground wire and the insulation around the wires was melted in several spots.... Read more

We're forced to rent these surge suppressors monthly. Now without any justification beyond "well Sir the cost of everything is going up, so we have to charge you more also", to which I say BS. They are demanding a 10% hike. They have the monopoly, so we have no alternative power company. I purchased a new home and had fpl install an electrical line to save money on my bill during the day when I was not home by cutting service to my water heater, one day my water caught fire and burned up through the electrical line installed from fpl. I called my plumber and he said it was from the line installed by fpl. I called fpl and they sent a tech out who told me he talked to my plumber... Read more

i called fpl friday oct.25,2013 about the problem and was promised that evening that sat. oct 26,2013 fpl would be here to trim trees .. they never came to my home and lied on paperwork saying there is no access to the trees in our backyard... called fpl today and my telephone call was either routed to voicemail or more excuses (or lies). i have asked for supervisor after supervisor about this.... I called in and asked for a payment plan since my bill was $180 during the summer.I was directed to the automated service which gave me two weeks tom pay the bill. In then called to speak with a representative who said once I was granted an extension I could not receive a payment arrangement. I had to pay the bill which I could not afford at the time. I went without food to get through the month... Read more
